SuMaFood Project at Gastropan Expo 2022, Brasov, Romania

Between April 3-5, the Sumafood project was present at the Gastropan Expo 2022 exhibition in Brasov, Romania. The 13th edition of the event was a significant presence among bakery manufacturers and enthusiasts in Central and South Eastern Europe.

On this occasion, Transilvania University of Brasov, as a partner of the SuMaFood project, organized a stand to present the bakery and pastry products developed within the project. Among the exhibits were: bread, pasta, biscuits and snacks, with addition of seaweed flour (Sugar Kelp) in proportions of 1.5%, 3%, 4.5% and 6%. Visitors were particularly interested in the new products developed, in terms of health benefits. The conclusions of the interaction with the visitors were particularly important for further research.
